YMCA Club London

Central London's largest gym

Our Central London venue is our flagship centre for education, health and wellbeing – and is home to YMCA Club, the largest gym facility in central London.

Health and Wellbeing

Being healthy and feeling good is about more than physical fitness. That’s why we take the holistic approach; looking after the mind, body and spirit.

Don’t be surprised to see reflexology and meditation offered alongside personal training sessions. Or, a community choir running side-by-side with fitness classes.

We’re building a happier, healthier, more connected community that all Londoners can benefit from. Join us. Everyone is welcome; all ages, all backgrounds, all fitness levels.

Gym memberships

YMCA Club is famous for its sense of community – with a great range of classes a week, a meditation room, seven in-house sports clubs, regular events, and evening workshops, there’s a lot to discover.

Children and youth - pod

Children and youth

A broad range of activities, classes and clubs for children (aged 4-17) and their families. With everything from: family swimming sessions to holiday playschemes.

Older adults - pod

Older adults

A regular programme of activities for the over 60s. Your chance to get fitter, healthier and meet new people. We now have over 800 members over the age of 60, more than double that of ten years ago.

Education and Training

Whether you’re 16 and straight out of school, or a working professional looking to upskill and retrain, we have something to meet your needs. It’s just about finding the right programme for you.

Fitness Training Academy

The FTA is an alternative to college and A-levels for 16-18-year olds. The FTA gives you a step into the fitness industry with a fully-funded two-year course.

In that time, you’ll become a qualified Personal Trainer and gain professional experience with weekly work placements at established fitness and leisure clubs.

Apprenticeships

If you already have some relevant work experience, and a strong level of maths and English too, you may feel ready to go straight for an apprenticeship. Anyone between the ages of 16-65 can apply to become an apprentice.

Read more about apprenticeships, how they work and what’s expected of you.

PT and Fitness Instructor Courses

Start or continue your career in fitness and qualify with one of our industry-leading personal trainer and fitness instructor courses. YMCAfit has trained more than 100,000 instructors – almost every gym in the country has a YMCA qualified staff member.

Venue and facility hire

We offer a wide selection of facilities at YMCA Club which are available for hire, including studios, teaching rooms and meeting rooms.
