Top Olympic and Paralympic heroes join Central YMCA celebrations

An array of Olympic and Paralympic heroes recently joined Central YMCA to celebrate the charity’s work with young people.

The Building Brighter Futures event showcased a number of Central YMCA’s recent projects including the YMCAfit apprenticeship programme, One KX’s Young Rewired State initiative, the award-winning InstructAbility programme and Central YMCA’s Body Image campaign.

The event was also an opportunity to hear from several of Team GB’s top Olympians including Daniel Purvis, Christine Ohuruogu, Zoe Smith, Greg Rutherford and Mike Hanney.
