Landscape Gardener Apprenticeship Level 2
This apprenticeship will mainly focus on horticulture and the soft landscaping activities such as grounds maintenance and plant growth.
Summary
You will be a proactive person with a passion to learn all aspects of horticulture. Committed to gaining qualifications and starting your career in Horticulture.
Duties include:
- Carry out all general maintenance tasks
- Practice safe systems of work
- Ensure all tools are stored correctly
- Contribute fully to team working.
- Undertake all aspects of hard and soft landscaping and commercial grounds maintenance.
- Have the desire to learn and become an asset to the company and themselves.
- Within in this vacancy, you will also be required to complete the following: planting, plant growth and development; care for plants correctly in different environments.

- Maths and English Grade 3 desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic, hard working and enjoys working outdoors
- A full clean UK driving licence is desirable but not essential as operatives may be required to operative ride-on mowers and drive company vehicles / tow trailers

Training to be provided
- Full Level 2 Horticulture Apprenticeship
- Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English where required
- PA1, PA6 Safe use of pesticides
- L3 emergency first aid at work will be provided as part of the apprenticeship
