Early Years Apprenticeship

We are seeking a motivated apprentice who has the desire to help children develop and grow. You will join this lovely nursery as an Early Years Apprentice, where you will be part of a team that prides itself on providing high-quality care for children.

Summary

During your Apprenticeship you will:

Supervision of children at all times
To help in maintaining a clean environment at all times; Cleaning surfaces, floors and utensils used by the children.
Keeping children safe while walking
Interacting with children
Encourage healthy eating and assist during meal times
Organising activities
Take and collect children from school
Reading and singing rhymes to the children and good partnership with parents
To support in providing appropriate learning experiences and planning age appropriate activities for the children
To assist in toilet training and nappy change
Comply with all requirements set out by the regulatory authority ( OFSTED)
To adhere in policies and procedures set by the child care provider

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English grade 4 and above

Future prospects

Early Years Level 2 Apprenticeship Functional Skills if required

Things to consider

DBS & FIRST AID TRAINING essential but can be obtained while on the job

Training to be provided

Full Level 2 or 3 Early Years Apprenticeship.

Functional Skills Maths and English, where required.
