Early Years Apprenticeship Level 2
You will be working with children age 0-5 years, building up relationships with them and helping them to grow and develop.
Summary
You will be required to work in the setting alongside staff to undertake the following :
- Implement routines
- Carry out self help such as nappies and toileting
- Engage meaningfully with the children
- Develop an awareness of child development and how to support the children when needed
- Undertake daily tasks alongside staff
- Support children on outings
- Plan circle time activities
- Support children’s independence
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
English and maths at GCSE or equivalent at grade 4/C and above is preferred but not essential
Future prospects
● A permanent position may be offered upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
● Opportunity to learn and develop within the company.
● Progression on to higher apprenticeship / training
Things to consider
We take the children out each day in all conditions.
It is imperative you enjoy working with children and want to see them thrive by creating routine and implementing the EYFS curriculum.
The basic hours for this position is 9.30 to 13.30 but flexibility is required to cover busier days'
