The new Apprenticeship Standards have been created with sectors employers, so you can be sure that you're learning the knowledge and practical skills employers' really value. In the last five years over 3,000 apprentices have trained with us.

Level 2 Adult Care Worker

12 months

Adult Care Workers provide frontline care for vulnerable adults within their own homes, day care centres, residential and nursing homes and other healthcare settings.

Working in a caring profession, with vulnerable people, demands the right skills and behaviours. You must be caring, compassionate, committed and responsible. For the right person, this can be a rewarding career. The care you provide must be delivered with kindness, consideration, dignity and respect.

This Apprenticeship Standard qualification has been designed by 12 leading employers, so you can be sure that it meets the needs of the modern caring profession. Designed by: London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Barchester Healthcare and Hertfordshire County Council (to name a few).
