Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle

We are opening our doors to a new apprenticeship programme that gives you the opportunity to learn all about the retail systems and the back of house operation that gives such a key support to our front of house retail function.

This is not just any retail function that you will be part of, this is arguably one of the most unique and magical environments you could work in where your place of work is actually, a palace!

You will support the retail systems team in their day to day function to provide an effective and reliable support service to the front-line shops and other departments in retail. This will be through daily administrational support of dealing with internal and external customer queries, managing invoices, administering stock take information, collating reports and supporting the team in projects aimed at developing and enhancing our processes and systems.

As part of this programme you will gain a range of essential industry skills to support you in your career and study towards a Business & Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship with YMCA.

This programme will last for a period of 18 months, during which time you will have the opportunity to train and develop into an experienced member of the team.

First impressions count, so your natural warmth and enthusiasm for working as part of a team and supporting your colleagues is crucial, as well as a good eye for detail and organisational skills. Experience in customer service is an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
