Arts Programme

It's been a busy year so far for Y Touring's Participatory Programme and it seems like a good time to reflect on the great work and exciting projects we've seen so far.

Youth Projects

Our Youth and Children's Theatre Company has grown and we are looking for members for our new performance project one stage 7-11. You can join us once a week to develop your acting, directing and performance skills by working together towards a public performance at the end of term.

Adult Projects

Here at Y Touring, we believe that participation and creativity is important whatever age you are, so we've developed a programme of workshops for adults too. So, if you're looking for more than amateur dramatics, then we have an improvisation and character based performance workshop for you: one stage adult, previously entitled the Imagination Workshop, which is currently recruiting new members for an exciting new performance project called 'Twelfth Nite Party'.

If you school choir filled you with dread, but you still love to sing, why not join our singing project one voice, led by a professional soul and gospel artist, our tutor will get you singing in a group in no time at all. The repertoire draws popular influences from all over the world and is a great way to relax.

Last, but not least, our over 50s contemporary dance pilot project was a roaring success. So much so that is has become a permanent feature in our programme, so please get in touch if you would like any more information about one move 50+.
